Global markets have been tremendously affected by what is happening in Chinese markets and with the price deflation caused by the abrupt moratorium on the Chinese new cities scheme.

If anyone imagines the US Fed has recently been the prime mover in global markets it either a journalist with no background in economics, or a jingoist who is trying to pretend that the Fed has come control over the larger global events currently unfolding. The Fed is currently a spectator like most everyone else.
