Hopefully, it will drive down the prices of the 2TB SSD drives. I've been using a couple of OCD 500MB drives for several years in my 2012 build, and those work flawlessly. I've been very pleased with the performance and stability of both drives. The dependability has been rock solid. I still have a 2009 2TB external Seagate drive for my primary storage backup and movies, which has also been very stable and dependable. For my next build, I am planning to use three 2TB internal SSDs. I'll follow the reviews on Newegg and Tom's Hardware to guide my decision, but I have nothing but good things to say about OCD based on personal experience.
