There you go, projecting again. Why the fuck do you keep doing that? It is from the ratfuckers playbook. If you are doing/planning to do, something that someone with a stronger moral/ethical compass might regard as shady, accuse your opponent of doing it first. That way if your actions come to light, at best it is viewed as your opponent trying to pin their crimes on you, at worst it is "both parties do it". Either way, it is a win. If your mantra is "the end justifies the means", then this is a no-brainer. Especially if you have planted the idea that your opponent lives by that mantra. If you are fornicating with rodents, there is no lower bound on your behavior.
