Gun law questions re Flanagan, tejek & bentway: Apparently Flanagan had no official criminal or mental health history that prevented him from buying a gun. 1) So what possible law could we have that would keep him disarmed? 2) Should we have a government list of people who get angry a lot? Consider tejek. He's posted a death wish on SI toward conservatives. And has posted lots of hatefilled posts. 3) Should tejek be on a government no-gun list? How about the thread run by X ie epicure ... that thread is filled with hatefilled comments toward America, Americans, Christians ... 4) should all those people be on a government no-gun list? And then there's bentway .... he's boasted both about the guns he owns and the laws he's broken (drug smuggling across the Mexican border in an earlier safer day, dosing people with drugs unawares, drug production and sale). Certainly he ought to be on a government no-gun list, if he isn't already. 5) Don't you agree?
