Hi Gekko! Here's a summary of what Zappa basically has:

1. a) PapaGrande/Mollopongo properties - Cambior has given Zappa a prefeasibilty study showing 1.8 million ounces Gold averaging 1.1 grams/ton Gold.(property has lots of exploration potential)

b) Guadalupe concession (49% ZPA, 51% EMC)- Contains around 1.6 million ounces Gold.
*These properties are adjacent to Ecuadorian Minerals Gaby property, which has proven up at least 2.5 million ounces themselves. These properties are a sulphide deposit, and together contain about 5 million ounces Gold. The production/costs would probably be 350,000 ounces/year, at a cost of somewhere near $320/ounce. Although this mine is not economic at todays $ of Gold, I believe it will be some day fairly soon!

2. Laplata property (50% ZPA 50% CBJ) - The Laplata is a Massive Sulphide deposit similar to Crosslake Minerals deposit. So far there is about 1 million tons proven averaging 4.4% Copper, 4.8% Zinc, 5.0 g/t Gold, 43 g/t Silver.
The furthest hole drilled south about a year ago had spectacular results! This hole averaged 8.7 meters of 12% Zinc, 3.85% Copper, 11 g/t Gold, 115 g/t Silver, and 2.5% Lead. Cambior is only now finally checking the southern extension of this rich hole!

It's up to you Gekko if you buy Zappa or not. I'm getting kind of blue in the face telling people to buy Zappa! Zappa should be getting results from 7 holes on the Laplata property by mid January! With Zappa trading at around .17 it looks pretty cheap, cause Crosslake minerals stock price moves 20 - 30 cents a day!
I guess the knock on Zappa is that we have to much proven and not a lot of cash! Although Zappa doesn't have any finacial commitments or obligations to meet in 1998.

Dean
