Just ... (... too many Republicans) Fixed it for you. You are welcome. There are some authoritarians in the Democratic party. But their numbers are dwarfed by the ones on your team. That is a strong part of Trump's appeal. When he appeals to nationalism, "making America strong again!", that is fascist. When he talks about giving more power to the police, that is fascist. When he talks about expanding Homeland Security, that is fascist. And so on down the list. Not everything. But a lot of it. Trump has very little appeal to Democrats. About a third of Republicans love him. Do the math.
