A big portion of the "Asia" effect is the fact that the new tax laws make it less expensive to sell stocks that have been held for 1.5 years. People are selling out for tax purposes after enjoying a three year ride and are jumpeing now to protect their profits. I'm looking for reinvestment after January when "the dust settles" and people realise that life goes on.

Two choices for US policy makers:

1) Reduce he rate to encourage consumptions, so that both the US manufacturers and Asian
exporter benefit. So, both will prosper and will not sink !!!!

2) US sink together with Asia by hike the rate !!!! Then all lose !!!
