To be sure, companies -- high-tech and the other kind -- with big sales in Asia are being hurt by the turmoil there. Last week's victims included 3Com Corp. (Nasdaq, COMS), Nike Inc. (NYSE, NKE) and Minnesota Mining & Manufacturing Co. (NYSE, MMM).
