I'm just fighting for the truth so that intelligent decisions can be made. And the truth is the air is reasonably clean in the US (particularly when compared to regions of China or South Korea or many other places around the world).

We have people wanting to spend trillions of dollars on non-problems when the real problems aren't getting solved for lack of funding.

Actually the LIA ended about 1680:



The sharp turn happened about 1700, before industrialization started. Needless to say the LIA wasn't a good thing and we don't want to give up industrialization. As late as 1800, the world was running on renewable power and those weren't the good old days.
