Because I work in the tech industry and I have many friends who are security experts, who's job it is to track down the sources of cyber attacks. But even if I didn't have those friends, it's all over the news. Why do you think Obama is readying sanctions against Chinese firms? They've been debating what to do for years now, but Obama is afraid that any actions will be an escalation. In my book, China has already declared cyber war and we are going the way of Carter when Iran took our hostages. The minute Reagan was elected, Iran let them go pretty darned quickly. We need a President that doesn't hesitate to strike back. Cyber theft is the biggest threat to the US. It strikes at the heart of our technological and economic might. Do you think China has come this far based purely on their own innovation? If you think that, then you are naive. They have been stealing from us left and right for many years.
