What the market is discounting is what it thinks will be sustained lower yields. However, I doubt it. Thats the only even absurd justification for P/E ratios to be where they are now. If the herd was right then everyone would be very rich-but everyone isn't. Lower bond yields would help this market out a lot, but I dont think that this safety net will be there much longer. But first, we need to see this net removed for a real sustained bear to not only growl, but also lay some teethmarks,IMO
