What the market chooses to punish (or reward for that matter) does not always follow fundamentals or common sense. Yes, the market should know about the charge and take into consideration that this is a purchase which should add to the bottomline. Will they be so kind? I'm certainly not sure, and I have been investing for a some time.

Lately, punishing GEMS is something of which the market has been doing plenty.

Sorry Skeeter, I made you worry. I just worry about the time the earnings release,
the management doesn't explain carefully about the charge, the stock could drop.
