Has anyone looked at QWST as a possible short? Seems like another CIEN.

The idea of a year end rally makes certain sense, but it is based on the history of our market. If the asian markets really fall apart it will be hard for this year end rally to take place. South Korea is in very bad shape and Japan keeps getting worse and worse since so much of their money is loaned out to other such countries. Does anyone know which holidays are observed in Asia? The meltdown could happen while our market is closed.

It's hard to imagine Japan not falling tomorrow after Korea fell so far tonight. If Japan fails to get back above 15,000 then they will likely go much lower.

Our media can ignore those markets most of the time but not if they get worse.
