E-trade just announced that they are going to buy back 2 million shares of their own stocks. They care only about their share holders (the CEO must own a lot). They care nothing about their customers, period.

I have no problems with Farsight, and am thinking of opening an account with Suretrade. If I had your problems I wouldn't be thinking about it?! Then again, are you using a 56k modem and a major internet link like IBM.net? The reason I was/am interested in Suretrade is that their 'java' screens load very, very fast. Ten seconds for a none java screen is about right, if you are in the minutes something is not right somewhere. Part of the problem is that the next generation of trading technology has not arrived yet.
