mohan, why the h*ll is the dow 5% off all time highs and all my high growth stocks have a pe of 10 and are 30-50% off their highs? why are bios turning rancid? why is mu over $6 and gtw nearly $35? is mot D-U-M-B enough to buy gtw? ok, don't answer the last question ;-) what up with that?

Yield curve action, flattening of curve, is particularly impressive again today. 10Yr/3Mo has declined to 25 bps down 9 bps just from Friday. Other negative indicators for me are declining yen and declining commodities (CRB down,grains down). If DJIA fails to hold these gains and ends negative today, overnight action will accelerate to downside in Japan, then Europe and continuing here IMHO. My hedges are still in place since I don't feel comfortable without them.
