What do you suggest Europe do with all these refugees?

Its a mess........the balance of power in the ME has been upset badly by the invasion of Iraq and the corruption of Basha al-Assad. Adding to the mess........the EU has become almost completely dysfunctional. They are not a nation nor an alliance.........some kind of weird hybrid that's not working very well. Actually, I am not sure what they are now.

Case in point..........this 'migration' has been going on for two years. And yet, the EU has not set up a process to handle the refugees.......not even one reception center. They can't even agree to what their policies should be in terms of the treatment of the refugees even though policies were set up when the EU was formed. And they keep turning to Merkel who is not the head of the EU but rather a 'governor' of one of its nation states albeit an important one......for answers. And frankly, I am not all that impressed with Merkel's administering.

What to do? IMO, Europe has to determine which countries will have asylum status and which won't. Then they have to determine how many refugees each nation will take. Next, they need to set up reception centers and adequate holding areas, esp since we are heading towards winter, until they determine which which of the refugees will get asylum status and which will be sent back to their countries. They also need to help Turkey with the cost of holding the 2 million Syrian and Kurd refugees they already have.

And this country needs to stop looking at Jeb Bush as a possible president. The Bushes have done enough damage to the country and to the world.
