Tom Powers on CNBC, in a ? about the sector says, its not yet time to buy, still in a downtrend, but should be a good play once they've based.

Hi Glen and all

Printed off an article today that may be interesting to the thread.

CAIRO, Dec. 22 (Reuters)

Saudi Oil Minister Ali al-Naimi said he expects oil prices to rise in 1998, helped by robust world demand growth and a commitment by fellow OPEC countries to observe new output quots agreed last month.

He also said the current economicslowdown in Asia would not adversely affect regional oil demand. "We believe demand on OPEC (oil) today is more than 28 million barrels per day (bpd)... We have sought to raise the ceiling because there is demand"

It is a very long article - does any-one have a FAX that I can send it to, and inturn can post the whole article to the thread ?

Lois
