Democratic socialists is what the liberal dem has always been. Bernie just had the guts and state to say it in. People thinking the far left is as nuts as the far right have it wrong. Look at what countries are far left" Denmark, Sweden, Iceland. How are those countries doing? Only the best of any countries on earth. I could name more. People might question they are far left: In Denmark convicts live in condo type cells. Few rich and poor and polled as the happiest people on earth. Free university, universal health care, few poor and lots of well to do middle class folks. By and large, the far left are just more schooled in social science, like Chomsky.
