I too like you am a senior and carry my iPhone with me 99% of the time, definitely a safety factor
and trying to get my wife to do the same, and it's slowly happening.
Typically she will now text me things like I'm going out from upstairs when I'm downstairs".
Senior should really embrace this technology from a safety and communications
point of view; too many of my friends are proud of their so-called ignorance and
embracing old flip phone technology when they can really afford the smart phone level.

It really begs the question is why do you need a landline anymore.
I dropped my second landline number several years ago and continually
evaluate when I should drop my remaining landline as everyone
living here has a smart phone

Why we are on a bit of a rant, there must be a huge opportunity
for seniors-oriented apps on the iPhone. I haven't seen any but
then I really haven't really looked. Anyone got any such apps they like?
