I go by the real world..want ads and people I know...no one is unemployed I know...and if they are it's not for long....the trades here in NY have work lined up for the next five years...so government numbers can't lie about that....look around you...look at the papers full of ads....look at wages going up because labor pool is shrinking!!! OPEN YOUR EYES AND DON'T FORGET.....THANKS OBAMA!!! :-)

I agree with your friend, but I also think we are going to have to find a rational way to provide for an increasing number of people who are long term or permanently unemployed due to automation and outdated skills. What we do now, at least in the U.S., doesn't work as it creates perverse incentives. I don't believe our country has the will to do what has to be done.

I believe a serious alternative education system will help but no one is talking about a modern day education system. (Well, actually, Rubio has talked about it but no one was listening).

The insanity that you're going to take the money from the wealthy and give it to the unemployed and solve this problem is ridiculous.
