The University of Colorado, Boulder campus just initiated a program that sounds very similar to the app you mentioned. It's catching on fast and replaces a far less helpful system they previously used. Sounds like a good idea, but not so much for most senior citizens if they're like me. I rarely have a reason to go out at night. If I do, you can be sure I don't walk or put myself in situations where I could find trouble. I live alone, have the usual aches and pains and don't react as fast as I once did. I carry my iPhone with me nearly all the time mostly in the event of a fall. I'm up and down my basement stairs dozens of time a day. I have a studio and office down there, no bathroom. 'nuff said?
