The indications that I have heard and which I believe are that AMD's speed mix has improved significantly (of the parts that work, many more are the faster speed chips), and that the overall yield (% that work at all and are saleable at ANY speed) has improved somewhat to significantly, but is still below what would be considered "normal". This is my synthesis from everything that I have heard, read and seen, discarding some reports that I believed were questionable.
