Hmmm. What did we do shortly after that date? Oh yeah, we invaded Afghanistan and Iraq! Our battlefield medicine is great nowadays, and people who would have died in earlier wars survive now. All the disabled people I know were in the military.

As the baby boomers get older it's to be expected......the population is aging=disability goes up!
