You think math has something to say about there not being a soul separate from the body Yes I do. Math is a process, not an entity, and it is a process that reveals new facts that are not always obvious. In terms of the math I refer to a soul as the self awareness or consciousnesses that has marveled humans since it first evolved. I know some prefer not to define what they mean by a soul. After many years in the information processing industry I know that the information feedback system is governed by the same math as other information storage, retrieval, and inference.
