How do you tell what build you have?

I find an easy way to tell what build I'm using is to execute the built-in Windows program Winver.EXE

For more detail, I use the Command Line utility SystemInfo.EXE

And for even more detail, I use third-party software like Speccy.

If you want Insider Preview Builds, go to Update & Security in Settings, click Advanced options, Click Get Insider Builds and after restart, you select the Fast channel. Keep in mind these upgrades will take almost an hour with a hard disk and will occur more frequently if you choose Fast...

I think the fast channel for new builds is too fast for me. They just pushed one out last night. That is two weeks between builds. If I did that for all my systems, it would be a total waste of our internet usage and time...
