they've created a whole media structure, including Fox News and lots of out of touch web sites, that support their craziness........

They have their own version of the Wikipedia. That says volumes.

Yup. Even the ones you think are fairly well educated will buy into those sites just so they don't have to give up on their ideology.

I think you are right about Fox re-thinking things. The last few election cycles led Fox to believe that they had control of the Crazy Train. They weren't. It was just that before Trump, the passengers on the crazy Train were content to follow Fox's lead.

I think it may have started when Turd Blossom was so sure Romney was going to win and began arguing with Fox anchors election nite....followed by the pathetic flop of Sarah Palin as journalist. The winger segment of the population has turned into something that is fairly ugly as evidenced by how Trump went after Megyn Kelly with barely a whisper of protest from the base. Even Fox rolled over for Trump. I can't say much for Eric Erickson but at least to tried to stand up to Trump. Its a pretty sad state of affairs.......and Fox may be trying to distance itself from the rabble.
