Steve,Gambler2, AMAT is a super value stock now. Something one can
buy and hold with the comfort that it will go up (even though it may
go down first). Kind of 'core holding', I guess.

Since the Market has lost 'momentum', so don't expect AMAT is doing
that much. It may be a great trading stock for 1~2 quarters.

Since AMAT is the industry leader and has products needed by the
industry. Sooner or later, the market has to credit that values to
AMAT (the products).

Semiconductor is FOOD and/or candy NOW. One can be on diet for a
short time, then they come back in vengence and want much more.

While 'this time is different' is a dangerous thing to say, I believe
the 'semicondutor industry' is different from earlier years due to
its 'growth' into our everyday life.
