..survival wages are of course plowed into savings and are a drag on the economy

LOL. It doesn't. That's the difference between theory and the real world. In theory, Calif lost jobs when we raised the MW in 7/14. In the real world, we've been leading the country in jobs created. Why? Cuz economics ain't rocket science? No, cuz economics ain't science at all.
