P.S. So, 10 years ago, the Nikkei was at 38,000 and I'm sure people were saying: "I'm a long-term investor. I don't care if the market drops, since, over the long term, it will go much higher." It is probably true that stock market prices will probably go higher over the long term. However, in this case, the definition of "long term" is definitely much longer than 10 years. (Anyone care to guess 25 years?)
