Sadly NPK is the poster child for companies who are doing their utmost not to succeed. You can have the best "mouse trap" but in the end it always comes down to people.

npk.to - transport cost difference is one factor in Verde's favour, a big one yes, but thermofert will also come to be known as superior fertiliser, imho, once it gets out there enough so that it can be fairly compared ... there are far more benefits to it than just not washing away in the rain like the chloride - less root compaction from less frequent application, less shock to helpful soil organisms, better taste from more naturally-grown plants ... plus the 'organic' label, which tends to impress even the most ignorant of greenies Cheaper and better - how do you beat that combo? ... so why isn't it permitted, financed, and rolling, hmm ... you do start to wonder if it's being managed in an ideal fashion, as kidl suggests, i really don't know for sure, it's hard to tell from the g.w.n., the aspects on which i'm most curious are 1. community relations, and 2. relations with financing bodies [including copious detail on both, which we just don't get here, you have to be on scene, and even then it's somewhat murky until events of substance transpire] ... in his defence, Cristiano is the one who put the whole project together, and he has kept the treasury in pretty decent shape, under the circumstances Why doesn't it get taken out? - looks like a logical target for Vale, or somebody else local, to me ... maybe a matter of time, of price as well no doubt but it's pretty cheap today ... one thing i find interesting, is when the stock starts to uptick in the last couple of years there is an entity or entities who purport local knowledge and show up here and on stockhouse with 'new and vital information' ... here's one from last thursday - Message 30228832
