That's right said Dilma Rousseff with a wink, "bitter medicine" to signal a commitment to austerity in Brazil.



It reminds me of when Brazilians celebrated the collapse of the Brazilian real.



But this is a new Dilma or Stella, for the new Brazil. Not the humorless guerrilla leader of past years who saw nothing funny when the Junta told Brazilians to eat cake during austere times.
