U.S. Neurosurgical Holdings, Inc. (USNU) - started small position @ $0.25/share

Selling below BV (BV=$0.35/share) and cash on hand ($0.28/share). Last EPS was positive at $0.05/share vs $0.01/share.

Not a liquid stock at all so this will only move on every earnings report. Company appears to have good relationship w/ university hospitals structure their deals as partnerships so everyone participates in the operation.

This is in a good sector, they are profitable and appear to have good management. FWIW, they carry good insurance as their facility at NYU was flooded by Hurricane Sandy and most everything was damaged. Huge potential liability w/ potential cobalt leakage. Machine was removed at over $500K. All covered by insurance.

Will be watching to see if revenues continue to grow and/or other JV partnerships are done to open other facilities.

Very small position but based on BV and cash, you are buying a profitable company for less than the cash they have in the bank.

Thank's for the lead. Looks like a hidden gem.

U.S. Neurosurgical Holdings, Inc. (USNU) - Closed out position @ $0.376/share

I had my stink sell hit today @ $0.376/share to close out my position. I set my price based on selling 17.5% above stated BV. I bought at $0.25/share 8/2016 so booked a 50% return in 6 months.

Last time this ran into the $0.40/share range before earnings. Earnings are next month so maybe somebody is buying based on that. As long as stated BV is at $0.32/share (or higher) I will again buy at/below $0.25/share (that's 28% below BV).

The problem is this is not liquid and you can not really trade too many shares either as ADV is only 2,800 shares.

Thanks for the heads up back in August 2016.
