Well, we just have here one huge disagreement. You are telling me the hard core left wing that was supporting Obama did it because he was running to the right of Hillary.

Well, we can just disagree on this one, but I was there. Liberal women were split on whether to stay with Hillary or not. I was with the kids during that race and they were excited by his populist appeal: "yes we can".

Yes we can what? Change government and take down the plutocrats with : "and this is change you can believe in" i.e. I will do it.

Left wingers ,and I have spent my entire life with them voted for Obama because they saw him as being to the left of Hillary. My entire clan except one daughter went for Obama and all our lefty friends.

koan; "Obama won running to the left of Hillary"

Rat: Oama wasn't running as a progressive. He wasn't running as a liberal. He wasn't running as a populist. Biden, Edwards, Kucinich, maybe Bill Richardson were all to his left.

koan: "Obama was running to the left of Hillary.. Exactly what Bernie is doing right now."

Rat: "Not hardly. Obama was running to the right of the 3 or 4 above, and Bernie is running to the left of any candidate in the last 3 centuries, except maybe Debs or somebody I don't know about. Left of McGovern? Yup.
That's great... for me. For most of the country? I doubt it.
