If an important economic theory is developed in a small nation, you don't think its economists won't influence the economics of that country?

No particular reason why it would.

By why the conjecture about what's likely to happen. There is an actual historical record that it didn't happen.

For that matter its not like Austria does all that badly so I don't even see why your trying to tie it in to policies based on economic theories which you dislike (apparently without having to understand them first.)
