It's hard to be a corporatist when the pendulum is swinging towards populism And pretty quickly, too. It has been building over the past few decades, but other than an occassional outburst like the Occupy movement, but things eventually fizzled. But lately it has gotten some legs. I would be shocked if the populst wave makes much headway this election. No doubt the powers that be will shut it down somehow. Hard to see how they can do it without having their hand in it being seen. The blowback from that should be fun to watch...
