Hate has a lot to do with Rigby's death.

Rigby's assailants were raised as Christians.

Not that their upbringing had anything to do with their murderous spree.

So I have to wonder why you brought that particular case up.

I doubt if many inhabitants from Syria, Iraq, Iran are happy that foreign countries are using their motherland as some kind of punch bag for political and economic purposes. Invasion of another country is bound to lead to problems... and it has.

John Steinbeck wrote about the subject back in 1942 for example. There is some persuasive propaganda in those pages.
