Well, they're pretty quick from this point but they've been a while coming.

Still, you can't consider a program like SS that essentially lasts one lifetime as being a success. In fact, by any reasonable definition it is a terrible failure. And Medicare failed about half the number of years.

The government track record on these kinds of programs is just about as bad as one can envision.
