All you listed in that post was warming up the atmosphere and reducing UV radiation, which doesn't amount to anything other than data points in a gigantic experiment which I just mentioned. Those are pretty big deals. I didn't list eliminating the need for pressure suits because I thought it was obvious. Going from a pressure suit to a breathing mask is a huge deal. Being able to grow plants without a pressurized enclosure is a huge deal for a colony. Not having to worry about blowouts is a huge deal.
