Do you know why?
Somewhat complicated, but in the past I have called it a "crusade" on the part of Islamic fundamentalists.

That description, of course, drew flames from the usual left-wing suspects, especially John Fowler, but despite the "nuances," I still stand by that statement.

Let me hear how you would answer that question, and I'm sure we'll find some common ground.
