After the merger she forced through, everyone hated her I did some contract work for HP about 5 years ago. As of then, everyone still hated her. I wonder if market share was one of her goals for her bonus. Because that is the only thing that makes sense about the acquisition. During that time Intel was still subsidizing Dell. As a result, Dell was the only one who was making money on desktops and laptops.
