<<Why don't these analysts upgrade Cymi ?>>

H&Q does not cover Cymi.

How about those who cover Cymi ?

Their major clients haven't covered the short yet, or they are still in a panic from the freefall - can't imagine Cymi will ever recover. Some hard-chewing stmulus drug such as good earning or industry statistics is needed before these analysts change their stubborn minds. My opinion.

Very weird that there are 6 analysts following a tiny company like ATMI and only 4 following Cymer. Check out the profiles.

<Why don't analysts cover CYMI?>

Because CYMI doesn't need new cash. Analysts, IMO and others, is that they issue opinions when there's a whiff of a secondary in the wind, and a positive opinion is all too frequently (see Forbes, 12/15) tied to the future underwriting, not the present value. Chaz.
