Petz - Re: "I can truly empathize with Andy because my father-in-law suffered from the effects of over-radiation on his prostate cancer .."

Andy Grove's prostrate cancer was the cover story of Fortune Magazine in the June or July, 1996 issue.

Within the isssue was a multipage article written by Grove detailing his discovery of the cancer and his own personal R & D study into the treatment of prostate cancer, culminating in a unique "implanted" radiation therapy. His cancer now appears to be in remisssion.

I recommend you read the article - to get an isight into Grove's analytical mind and thought processes - you might get a glimpse of why he has been so successful in guiding Intel to its current position of preeminence in the semiconductor industry.
