Building a clock from a kit isn't even science. Of course, I don't believe this kid made his timing device from a kit ... you just made that part up.

But if he had and thousands of other kids do it, then he didn't do anything special.

If a kid made a mechanical hammer or rivet-driver that looked like a zip gun or nail gun, would that be science? Would the school welcome that home project and celebrate it? Would Obama invite that kid to the WH?

I have this vision of the kid carrying his suitcase clock into the WH, showing it to Obama, then shouting Allahu Akbar as his 'clock' makes Biden President. Can you see the humor in that?
