Things have changed a LOT since the last Supreme Leader. As far as what you say about the current leader I agree with EVERYTHING you've said, but none of the things you've talked about would have been disapproved of by the military. The military wanted the Iranian "Green" movement put down as much as Kameaniei did. That movement challenged BOTH of them. So, I don't think you've offered any real evidence that the military itself does NOT run Iran. It's really ridiculous to keep arguing this point because NEITHER of us can really prove their belief.
