Jumper If you think CKFR has that much potential....then how do you feel about INTU...at $400 their interest would be worth 4.24 Billion?

Just had to ask............

I hope AOL and Yahoo will be fine. If not, CKFR will be influenced. Remember they are in one sector.

Both Chirodoc and I bought some expensive DEPO stock at $13~$14, and we took a huge plunge from $13 to $4 last Friday after FDA rejected their No. 1 and only drug. It's a horrible experience. That kind of hurt. You have to wonder about the downside of every stock after that.

Jumper -- I agree with you that the internet stocks like YHOO and AOL are ridiculously overpriced. I'm even toying with the idea of shorting one or two of the weaker ones, although their prices seem so utterly divorced from fundamentals that there's no telling how much higher they'll go before the bubble bursts, or what it will take to puncture it.

And I agree with you that CKFR is fundamentally different, with revenues based on steadily repeating transaction fees rather than the whims of advertising buyers (who will eventually figure out that nobody really clicks on those annoying Web ads, which I consider a waste of good advertising money.)
