Not set up at all... just an honest answer is all that was needed... for me, I would tell the instructor absolutely not... the point of the question is to prove to you how offended you would be to be asked to give the fruit of your own hard work to someone else who clearly didn't deserve it and refused to work for it himself, yet liberals do that all the time... don't feel set up, that sounds paranoid, just be honest...
