Good one Steve. My personal favorite: Fairmile started out as a scam and they accidently found a gold deposit on the property. They were so surprised by this that they've been running around like chickens without heads ever since. Echo Bay heard the commotion next door and figured hey this is really convenient having a possible gold producing property right next door lets put some money into them and see what they've got. That's where they are right now...nowhere!

Steve,

Thanks to you and the others who responded! The dude that hyped this stock was the reason I bought in at 3.18 US dollars. There is NO way I will sell at .13 cents <G> the postage to surrended the certs is too steep.

Does anyone on this site know anything about Desert Sum Mining? I bought this years ago as Sun River Gold. Then it change to Yellow Point Mining. After a big hairy reverse split I think I have (1) or maybe 5 shares of it. I have held it for 10 years and don't really know what I got for sure. If I sound like I am soured on Canada Mining stock your right. But, I will hang on to my measy few hundred shares till I can get my money back anyway...

Thanks again,
Dusty
