Clinton, several people I know subscribe to InterQuote and download daily stock transactions for analysis. They have written custom programs to sort out block transactions and to perform various calculations. You can ask Michael Rich about it on the Idea thread. A problem that plague most commercial data sources is the incompleteness or inaccuracy of data. Also I tend to discount calculations unless at least 90 percent of the trading volume is represented. The calculations, mf, andblock trades must be consistent with my read of the stock, momentum, and market sentiment ... AOL, it's course was clear last Friday. Blocks were buying today as expected.
