Everyone pays taxes...

And the oil industry is subject to additional taxes that most industries aren't. Even if it did get big subsides (and it doesn't), its silly to call the industry heavily subsidized when the additional extra taxes it pays are higher then the subsidies.

Most of what gets claimed as "subsidies for the oil industry", are not subsidies, or even targeted tax breaks (which aren't really subsidies but have the same effects, in terms of distorting the economy, and encouraging corruption of politics), but normal tax breaks that every business gets.

Climate change, even if it is as big of factor as the alarmists think it is, isn't a subsidy, its an externality. Deduction of business expenses isn't' a subsidy or a special interest tax break, its how our tax system works for all businesses. I'm not sure you could identify anything as an actual subsidy or even some special tax breaks. Those that do exist are quire modest.

Hillary goes green ... hires unemployed college grads to push her bus instead of using fossil fuels.

You can see one of the young people pushing is speaking on a cell phone, excitedly telling her Mom she got a job.
