thats why i think the 19" monitors are such a good deal. Even some top end ones are ~$1K. Once you go to 21", seems like $1300 to $1400 is the next break point. I really appreciate all the help i've been getting for this monitor purchase.

I have looked at some of those cheaper PCs. I guess they are alright for a second cpt. or for someone who does not need too much storage etc. but I don't think I would like it as my only one. I have enough trouble with the cpt. I have and am looking for an upgrade. I don't think high end cpt. will go the vanishing route. If you add all those things on you want to have, you are well above the 600 to 1000 price tag.
